Defining Features: freckles, scars all over her body, a more prominent scar on her left eye.Born to a minor noble house in Ishgard, Rivienne "Riv" Voilinaut is the youngest and only daughter of 6. Most of her formative years were spent learning the way of a noblewoman while also training with her brothers in swordsmanship. While she was not as skilled with a sword as her other family members, she was very quick to pick up lance work, it came naturally to her. Theron, an uncle on her mothers side, picked up on this quickly. He was sure to bring one of his older lances to the next family dinner, gifting it to his niece. Theron then regaled her with stories of Dragoon Knights and what they did for the people of Ishgard. This sparked a fire in Riv that she was unaware of and at that moment, she dedicated herself to training to become a Dragoon.Around Riviennes 18th nameday, Theron was defending the city-state from a Horde attack when he was struck down by a member of Nidhogg's brood. With his dying breath, he entrusted his job stone to a fellow member of the Order, telling him it must get to his niece. When word reached the Voilinaut family, Riv knew exactly what she must do. Steeling herself, she went to her father to declare she would train and become a Dragoon Knight, her father had protested this profusely but it did not deter her. Riviennes's father, enraged by the decision she had made, told her "No Voilinaut would become a Dragoon as long as he drew breath." Ignoring his words, Riv left her family home to pursue the legacy Theron had entrusted to her.A few nights were spent in the Brume before she was found by Aymeric De Borel, who had been a family friend for quite some time. He took Rivienne to the Congregation of Our Knights Most Heavenly, where she began her official training to become a Knight, then quickly moved to be a candidate for the Order of Knights Dragoon.RP HOOKS;;
Is your character a Warrior of Light/Scion? They've probably seen Riv around when the Scions have received aid from Ishgard. She's been working alongside this group since Heavensward.Ishgardian? Born and raised in the Holy See, Riv has been present there her entire life, depending on how deep your character's love for juicy noble house gossip they might have heard of the Voilinaut child who disobeyed the Head of the House to become a Dragoon.I'm open to plotting and working with you to RP together!
